The evening of December 5, the Rittmann theatre played host to the High School Strings and Band Christmas Concert!
The program started with a special performance by the Concert Orchestra, a combination of the Concert Strings and Concert Band, performing Christmas comes again ...in about 3 minutes!
This was followed by fantastic performances by all the High School Strings and Band groups. The ECA groups showed off their skills with a beautiful rendition of Oh Holy Night with singer Selah Miller accompanied by the Jazz Band, and the Concordia String Ensemble performing without a conductor! A highlight of the evening was a performance of a piece composed by a Concordia Strings student, Tim Ly, titled Reminiscence which really transported the audience to a winter wonderland! Bravo to all our performers for all their hard work!
